Laurie Findlay

Laurie assists with planning and participating in their outreach and resource events. Laurie is a board member and trainer for SCLAR (South County Large Animal Emergency Services). She is trained as a Certified Disaster Worker and has been deployed to several fires. Laurie is also a board member of Grizzly Flat Fire Safe Council. Because of the rural nature of the West Slope and the unwillingness of residents to evacuate without a plan for their livestock and pets, Laurie will provide expertise on how to integrate animals into the evacuation plan.
