Hi my name is Sara Aubry. I’m a mother, sister, aunt, daughter and a life long Grizzly Flats community member. I spent my childhood and adolescent years in the beautiful Grizzly Flats community. As an adult I was the karaoke host at Grizzly Pub and helped pass out plates at Burger nights. My family lost everything we owned in our rental home due to the Caldor Fire, changing our life’s forever. My childhood home and other family members homes were also lost in this horrific fire . Life has been a challenge for us since the fire took so much from my family and community members, but I am a survivor and continue will to move forward towards making my home town the place that I love again.
