Terri has worked for non-profit organizations for 31 years. The majority of that time was spent developing disaster response training curriculum to prepare staff and volunteers to be first responders during times of crisis. She has extensive experience serving as Incident Commander, coordinating rescue and shelter operations during 71 major disasters, including ones in Canada, Japan, Poland, Romania and Sri Lanka. Terri has done extensive writing on the subject of disasters, to include a course for FEMA.
