You’re about to embark on an exciting journey that will transform you into a Community Readiness Ambassador! This isn’t just another training program—it’s a call to action. You’ll develop life-saving skills, work alongside passionate emergency responders, and become an essential part of disaster preparedness in your community. Ready to take the leap? Register
Your adventure begins here! Filling out the registration form is your first step toward becoming a certified emergency responder. It’s like signing up for a mission—once you’re in, you’re officially part of the team!

Basic Trainings
Time to power up your emergency skills! You’ll tackle: A 2-day Disaster Readiness Workshop that prepares you for real-world emergencies.
Basic CERT Training (online) to build a solid foundation in emergency response. Incident Command Systems (ICS) 100 (online) to understand how disaster response teams work together effectively.

In-Person Trainings
Get ready for some real-world action! You’ll train in: CPR & First Aid – Become a lifesaver in emergencies. Fire Suppression – Learn how to control and fight small fires safely. Search & Rescue – Develop skills to locate and assist people in distress. Wildfire Understanding – Discover how to react to and protect against wildfires. And SO MUCH MORE!

Orientation
Once you’re registered, you’ll be invited to an orientation session with the West Slope Foundation. This is your chance to meet the experts, get a feel for the program, and understand the important role you’ll play. Think of it as the briefing before your first big mission!

Review Training
This is where things get interactive! You’ll team up with experts from the West Slope Foundation and Pioneer Fire Protection District to refine your skills and ensure you’re ready for action. This will be a 2-hour, in-person training held in Mt. Aukum, CA. Location and details will be provided.

Level Up!
Once you’ve mastered the basics, it’s time to advance your skills! Take additional training courses in-person, online, or through a hybrid format to become a seasoned emergency responder. This is your chance to go above and beyond and become an expert in specialized areas.
