Community Readiness Programs

At West Slope Foundation, we believe in the power of community. Our Community Readiness Programs bring together families, friends, neighbors, and communities to get ready for the unexpected, create firebreaks around homes and neighborhoods, and—most importantly— help care for one another when it matters most. No matter your age, ability or background, you have something valuable to contribute to building our community’s resilience. From seasoned adults to curious kiddos, everyone plays a vital role in making sure we’re all safer, stronger, and ready for anything.
Our programs are about so much more than readiness, they’re about compassion, connection, and the realization that we’re at our best when we stand together. By joining
one of the Community Readiness programs, you’re gaining more than
life-saving skills, you’re joining a network of neighbors committed to supporting one another, especially when we need each other the most.
Together, let’s build a community that’s READY!
