HELP THE COMMUNITIES
OF EL DORADO COUNTY'S WESTERN SLOPE BECOME BETTER PREPARED WHILE PROVIDING AID DURING THE RESPONSE AND RECOVERY STAGES OF A DISASTER
OR EMERGENCY.

Vision

TO PROVIDE OUTREACH AND RECOVERY FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE MOST IN NEED AND VULNERABLE BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER A DISASTER WITHIN THE WEST SLOPE COMMUNITIES OF EL DORADO COUNTY.

Purpose

EDUCATE AND PREPARE COMMUNITIES TO BE READY FOR A DISASTER OR EMERGENCY, WHILE SURVING AS A RESOURCE TO THOSE DISPLACED BY A DISASTER IN EL DORADO COUNTY.

Learning from the Caldor Fire, we have taken the experience and have created disaster preparedness, evacuation and recovery educational information, trainings and hands on workshops that will prepare our communities.

RESPONSE

In the event of an emergency or disaster, we have multiple programs that help evacuees and survivors through the uncertainty of the event during the uncertain and scary evacuation process.

RECOVERY

The long road to finding a new normal after a disaster is long and challenging. West Slope Foundation is here to provide individual assistance to survivors to help them along their journey.
